Background Respiratory infection is the 4th most common reason for absence from work in Finland. There limited knowledge of how social distancing affects spread respiratory infections during epidemics. We assessed effect nationwide control strategies against coronavirus disease 2020 on various (International Statistical Classification Diseases and Related Health Problems code J06) occupational outpatient clinics.Methods used healthcare data J06 diagnoses 2017 to obtained largest health service provider The was divided into three 252 day-long pieces weekday-matched smoothed by 7-day-moving average. difference diagnosis rate between follow-up years measured using Pearson correlation.
